The showing of the documentary movie, “Iwaki Note (FUKUSHIMA VOICE)” ended on July 18. It was carried out from July 12 through July 18 and there were a total of 384 people who came to see it. We received a lot of comments in the post-viewing questionnaire, which almost everyone had returned, and the co-directors and the entire staff reconfirmed the significance of their efforts. The English subtitles were also very well received and preparations for presentation to overseas film festivals and to the global stage are underway. “Iwaki Note (FUKUSHIMA VOICE)” will not stop with the theater showings, but plans for multiple projects to continue delivering in other ways and forms are in the works. We will update details on our Facebook wall, Twitter and website. The movie is connecting many people together. Thank you very much to all the people who came to see the movie and gave support to the movie. (Iida)
