The Miyake Design Studio’s Reality Lab presented us with a lecture entitled “Tohoku: a fusion of local technique and design.” We were able to view clothing and items made from washi produced in the Tohoku region. The staff brought several pieces of clothing and shoes with them for our students to see. (Kataoka)
